Phu Yen 1-Day Tour Itinerary
07:30: Pick-up by car and tour guide at the meeting point. Depart for Phu Yen.
08:30: Arrive at Mang Lang Church, which has nearly 120 years of history. Considered the oldest church in Phu Yen and one of the oldest in Vietnam, it preserves the first book printed in Vietnamese — The Catechism of Eight-Day Sermons by Father Dac Lo (locally known as Cha Dac Lo), who is credited with developing the Vietnamese Romanized script.
09:30: Visit the nationally recognized Ghenh Da Dia (Stone Plate Reef) — a unique formation of basalt columns arranged closely together, with some standing vertically and others leaning, creating layers resembling stacks of plates. The black stones and crashing waves create a mystical natural landscape.
10:30: Continue to Hon Xua Cultural Village, preserving the spiritual, cultural, and historical values of Phu Yen for future generations. Here, you can see traditional pottery, stone mills, stone xylophones, and more. Hon Xua also features traditional Central Vietnam folk arts and games such as Bai Choi. (Drinks at your own expense)
11:30: Enjoy lunch at O Loan Lagoon, sampling fresh local seafood and relaxing. Capture photos of the scenic lagoon.
14:00: Visit Thanh Luong Pagoda, famous for its unique and rare beauty. The stories surrounding this pagoda always spark curiosity and invite exploration.
15:00: Explore Nghinh Phong Tower, featuring a striking design inspired by the iconic Ghenh Da Dia and the legend of “One Hundred Eggs, One Hundred Children” of Lac Long Quan and Au Co. The tower consists of two distinctive parts.
16:00: Continue to Nhan Tower, a famous landmark in Phu Yen leaving lasting impressions on visitors. Built in the 12th century on the eastern slope of Nhan Mountain at 64 meters above sea level, it is a symbol of the Cham culture and a must-visit spot for photography enthusiasts.
16:30: Depart for Quy Nhon city.
